Some of the side was cut off and the background is darker on top, but my father succeeded in taking photos of the little dear.
 This was my first paid commission, and the order was about an eagle-like, spread-winged, flying (totally stereotypical) phoenix, and this turned out.  I messed with this thing for two months, we'll see how the guy who ordered it likes.
